The Aim Of The Northern Ireland Powerlifting Federation Team Selection
The NIPF have 2 aims at all international competitions:
● To achieve the highest possible placings and medal positions at each competition;
● Provide opportunities for talented and developing athletes.
This selection policy has been created to support the NIPF in these dual aims and the NIPF believe in the interest of competitiveness that the top totalling lifters from each age/weight category are extended an invite automatically. However if this invite is declined the selection of the next lifter will be based on other factors including but not limited to total.
